The main producers of this oil are Ukraine, Russia and Argentina. Refined sunflower oil has a high smoke point, which is why it is suitable for frying and pan-frying.
Ukraine is one of the world's leading exporters of sunflower oil. Ukraine is developing cultivation, processing and manufacturing of sunflower seeds and sunflower oil. In 2020, Ukraine exported more than 2 million tons of sunflower oil, and Ukrainian sunflower oil is known worldwide as a premium product.
