Bonny Light crude Oil NNPCL

Bonny Light oil was found at Oloibiri in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria in 1956 for its commercial use.

Due to its high profit generating characteristics, it is in high demand among refiners. Bonny light oil has an API of 32.9, classified as light oil.

If the product specification as per NNPCL Export Quality Inspection does not conform to the Bonny Light Crude Oil specification as agreed in the contract.


The price per barrel will decrease by $0.02 for every 1/10th (one tenth) percentage above 0.15% by weight of sulfur for crude oil.
